Get to Know Us
We are the Fridays, Melvin and Jacqueline Friday. We recently relocated from Las Vegas to Jacksonville, FL to bring our girls closer to the beach and out of Sin City. We started our journey into refinishing furniture in 2018 and since then our style has ebbed and flowed and now we love to flip with all kinds of different styles. Our favorite process is painting with the high quality enamel paints, OHE, from Wise Owl Paints. Our business has grown from a simple and small garage business painting one or two sets at a time. We then upgraded to a 20x20 storage unit to store and sell our pieces, but that just was not enough! We now have our first store, Refinished By Friday. It's been a dream come true to take the first steps out of the garage and bring our passion into a more legitimate and professional environment.
Our Showroom
WE HAVE MOVED! We are no longer at the old store on the corner of Saint Johns Bluff and Beach at the 295. We will now be located on Wells Rd which is in Orange Park but right off the 295, about 4 minutes from the freeway. From the beaches side, you will take 295 West towards Orange Park, cross the Buckman, and take your first exit, Park, Left. Then turn right on Wells Rd and we are down the street across from General RV.

**For nation-wide shipping, we use UShip to expertly and specifically schedule & deliver our items. Each item is sent with specific rates and bids so please contact us directly for a quote on a non-local delivery. Please do not purchase through the website if looking to add shipping as the website shipping estimate will not take into account your location.
We Can Paint YOUR Furniture
Some of favorite projects include client owned furniture. If you already have the perfect piece, but it needs an update, we can help you. In this example, the client had three pieces from a vintage Thomasville bedoom set. She chose this beautiful color, Inkwell, from Wise Owl as the jump off color. From Inkwell, we lightened each drawer to bring in the gorgeous ombre ocean vibe.
We are not limited by size, in fact we specilize in full bedroom sets, so send us some photos and lets get started tpday! We can schedule pickup or a drop off time if you can bring it all to us.
Complete Bedrooms
Here at Refinished by Friday, we specialize in bedroom dresser sets, with or without bed frames. We love to bring back to life these solid wood sets. A few repairs, a good prep job, and some paint can bring any item back to its glory and then some. Modernize your set with us today or check out what we currently have in stock. We seek out the best quality furniture in Jax and the surrounding areas. We specialize in white and grey but we offer other colors and styles too.
Dining Sets
We love to let these beautiful dining tables shine! Our process includes cleaning and prepping of all of our pieces, and this includes chairs and dining tables. Our tables often feature our signature look with off white chairs and base/legs with our signature striped top.
