How long does custom furniture painting take? The typical turnaround is about 4 weeks from drop-off to delivery. We're usually scheduled 4–6 weeks out, so the total time from first contact to your finished pieces is roughly 6–10 weeks, depending on demand.

Do you paint laminate or veneer furniture? Veneer pieces in good condition — yes, often. Laminate is harder. We'll evaluate your specific piece and honestly let you know whether it's worth refinishing.

Can I supply my own paint? We exclusively use Wise Owl Paint because we know exactly how it performs, and we stand behind the finish. Bringing in different paint changes that vary, so we don't take on projects with client-supplied paint.

Do you offer in-home painting? For built-ins and cabinets, sometimes call to discuss. For movable furniture, we always pick up and paint in our shop. The work is cleaner and faster, and the results are better when we have full control over the environment.

What if I don't like the color after it's painted? That's why we do the color consultation up front and recommend visiting the showroom to see physical samples. We're confident in the colors we recommend. That said, if a color is genuinely wrong, we'll work with you to make it right.

Do you do antique restoration? We do refinishing, not full antique restoration. If you have a true antique with high monetary or historical value, we'll likely recommend a restoration specialist instead. For everyday vintage and inherited furniture, we're a great fit.

Can I send pieces from out of state? Yes, this happens. Clients ship furniture to us, we paint it, and we ship it back. Shipping is quoted individually through UShip. Email us with details for a full estimate.
